Ro-Ro shipping for vehicles
Drive on, ship securely: vehicles and machinery between ports.

Roll-on/roll-off (Ro-Ro) shipping moves vehicles that can be driven or towed on to a specialised vessel, so there is no container to load. It suits cars, vans, trucks, trailers and machinery.
What we coordinate
- Collection to the UK port
- Port-to-port shipping on a suitable schedule
- Documentation and customs
- Onward delivery at the destination, where arranged
What to include in your request
Vehicle type, make and model, condition and whether it can be driven, dimensions and weight, collection address, destination port and preferred dates.
How we deliver this
Some jobs, including larger vehicles and international freight, are carried out with carefully selected partner carriers. VoltFleet stays your single point of contact and remains responsible to you for the job.
What to tell us
- The collection and delivery postcodes, with floor numbers
- The date and time you need, and how flexible you are
- What is moving: item count, rough sizes and weight, or the number of pallets
- Stairs, lifts, loading bays, parking and any permits or restrictions at both ends
- Whether you need help carrying, a tail-lift or a second person
How it is priced
Every job is quoted individually and in writing, based on the details you give us. The quote states the price and what it includes, and a quote is not a booking. A job is confirmed only when you accept the quote and we confirm the driver and time. See how it works and our transport terms.
Common questions
Do I need a container?
No. Ro-Ro vehicles are driven or towed on to the vessel.
