Contract haulage

If you move goods on a regular basis, a contract can be simpler than booking every job. Contract haulage means a scheduled route, an agreed vehicle and a single point of contact, with the terms set out in writing before you start.

What we can do

• Stock moves between warehouses, shops and sites
• Deliveries of materials to construction and trade sites

Who it suits

Retailers and wholesalers moving stock between a warehouse and shops, trade and construction firms supplying sites, and manufacturers with regular collections. If your volume is irregular, ask about pallet and parcel delivery or return loads instead.

Changing a contract

Needs change, so the quote sets out how a schedule can be adjusted and with what notice. We would rather agree that at the start than argue about it later.

How we deliver this

Some jobs, including larger vehicles and international freight, are carried out with carefully selected partner carriers. VoltFleet stays your single point of contact and remains responsible to you for the job.

What to tell us

• The collection and delivery postcodes, with floor numbers
• The date and time you need, and how flexible you are
• What is moving: item count, rough sizes and weight, or the number of pallets
• Stairs, lifts, loading bays, parking and any permits or restrictions at both ends
• Whether you need help carrying, a tail-lift or a second person

How it is priced
